In Branschnytt issue 12 we have made a report with Klara Städ where we interviewed CEO Andreas Dayan. Here you as a reader can take part in Andreas' thoughts on success factors in the business and how he sees the cleaning industry in the future.

Since its inception in 2020, with the motto "We are Klara when you are satisfied", Klara Städ has made a rapid and successful growth journey with impressive 1,192 % growth between 2021 and 2024. As Sweden's fastest growing cleaning company, Klara Städ today has operations in nine locations. In 2025, the business will turn 5 years old and is expected to have a turnover of approximately SEK 140 million.

You are on a successful growth journey, what should be considered and what is your reasoning?

Since the start, we have had a high sales drive that permeates the entire business, from management to staff in the field. The motto every morning has been "more, more, more". To maintain a close customer dialogue, we have invested in our service sector throughout the journey, while ensuring employee satisfaction and high job satisfaction. Satisfied employees make for satisfied customers, which makes it easier to recruit. Fast decision-making paths throughout the organization have also been a crucial factor for us, especially at a time when flexibility is a prerequisite. It is also important to be prepared for anything to happen. Having a mental attitude that accepts that things don't always turn out as planned has been central to our success," says Andreas.

In what way do you think Tengella has contributed on your growth journey?

Before Tengella, we worked in several different systems. These were easy to work with but not very advanced, which made it much more difficult for us to analyze data. With Tengella, we have a more comprehensive business system that allows us to get more insightful data, which makes it easier for us to analyze the business from a profitability perspective. Tengella's financial reports enable me as CEO to make a quick analysis to ensure profitability per service, per location and per employee, which is an important control function, says Andreas.

Since we are present in several locations, where each location is run as a separate company, it makes it easier for everyone to work in the same system where everything is gathered. Tengella has contributed with a structure that provides order and clarity in everyday life, which allows us to make better analyzes and forecasts. The system helps us to schedule and link assignments with each employee, while making it easier to separate costs, income, employees and customers.

The system also helps us to establish quick communication channels with our staff in several ways, including via SMS. We also provide the same communication opportunities to our customers, who, for example, receive SMS reminders and targeted mailings via the system. We see clear benefits from using Tengella as an ERP system, as it helps us to steer the business in the right direction," says Andreas.

How do you see the industry developing in the future? and how will you at Klara Städ respond to this?

We believe in an upturn for the market as a whole in the coming years, especially for the RUT market, which is underlined by ongoing RUT reports. The market has been volatile since the pandemic, and we hope to reach a normal state soon. At the same time, we don't really know what a normal situation feels like, as we were formed in 2020, but we are hopeful about the future. We want to continue to grow in all segments in all locations and will do so in the same way as we have done since the start. This is through a high presence in the markets where we operate, as well as with a strong employee focus, Andreas concludes.
